About this piece
Checked all the way round and big enough to sink a dozen bottles into ice. The bail handle is welded to the sides before firing, so it will not loosen over a summer of use.
Size & capacity
24cm high × 26cm diameter. Capacity 5 litres.
Material & care
Vitreous enamel on 1.2mm steel, fired twice at 800°C. Dishwasher safe, oven safe to 230°C, freezer safe. Not microwave safe. Avoid metal utensils and steel wool to keep the glaze glossy. Glazes are formulated without added lead or cadmium and produced to food-contact standards (EU 1935/2004, FDA 21 CFR) — see Materials & safety.
