About this piece
Wide and shallow so a tangle of pasta spreads out rather than stacking up. Dots painted across the whole face, and the flared lip makes it comfortable to hold with a tea towel while you are draining.
Size & capacity
22cm diameter × 6cm deep. Capacity 900ml.
Material & care
Vitreous enamel on 1.2mm steel, fired twice at 800°C. Dishwasher safe, oven safe to 230°C, freezer safe. Not microwave safe. Avoid metal utensils and steel wool to keep the glaze glossy. Glazes are formulated without added lead or cadmium and produced to food-contact standards (EU 1935/2004, FDA 21 CFR) — see Materials & safety.
