About this piece
The swirl is dragged through the glaze in one movement, then the piece is fired upside down so the pattern breaks cleanly at the foot. Deep enough for soup, wide enough for noodles.
Size & capacity
21cm diameter × 6.5cm deep. Capacity 1 litre.
Material & care
Vitreous enamel on 1.2mm steel, fired twice at 800°C. Dishwasher safe, oven safe to 230°C, freezer safe. Not microwave safe. Avoid metal utensils and steel wool to keep the glaze glossy. Glazes are formulated without added lead or cadmium and produced to food-contact standards (EU 1935/2004, FDA 21 CFR) — see Materials & safety.
