About this piece
The marbled band is pulled through the wet glaze with a fine hook, which is why the swirls look dragged rather than drawn. Fired twice, so the colour sits deep under the glassy surface.
Size & capacity
10.5cm high × 10cm diameter. Capacity 400ml.
Material & care
Vitreous enamel on 1.2mm steel, fired twice at 800°C. Dishwasher safe, oven safe to 230°C, freezer safe. Not microwave safe. Avoid metal utensils and steel wool to keep the glaze glossy. Glazes are formulated without added lead or cadmium and produced to food-contact standards (EU 1935/2004, FDA 21 CFR) — see Materials & safety.
